CALLING ALL COMMUNITY EXPERTS! The Library is currently looking for Community “Expert” volunteers to assist with our upcoming Repair Café in the following areas: 

• Electricity • General Repair • Sewing • Needlecrafts • Jewelry Making & Repair • Watch Repair • Bike repair • Engineering

What do you do with a CD player that no longer opens? A toaster that no longer works? A coffee pot with a bad switch or a sweater with moth holes? Repair Café is a neighborhood initiative that promotes repair as an alternative to tossing things out. Residents can bring their broken items to have them fixed on the spot (if possible) with the help of local volunteers. Register now.
